Back, Moving Forward – from Mel
☃ Hope you enjoyed your holiday
season. It was a quiet one for us and a great time for reflection. Personally,
I reviewed my treatment of myself and others. I concluded that I have room for
improvement in both arenas and that’s o.k. This is my favorite time of the year
because of the goodwill and holiday cheer that seems to wallow in the air. It’s
up to me to make every season feel like the “most wonderful time of the year”
for my part. That’s my overall goal for 2025. 🥳
Here’s what we’ve been up to recently and what’s ahead for
Chika Chaka…
Team Wins:
· We’ve created names and theme songs for each of our Chika Chaka animal characters! We’re so excited to debut them. Hope you love them as much as we do. Being part of the original MTV generation, we know we need to create an amazing video to go with each song. 😜Once that’s completed, we’ll debut them.
We did another photo shoot with the Chika Chaka Chums, but this time it was to get them ready for learning videos for the kiddos. With a little green screen magic, the chums will make learning a blast! Coming soon…
Project Updates:

Funky Five Jive
is a 15 min.-or-less podcast bringing you fun and nostalgia as we discuss our
take on toys, kids and other funky stuff. Due to the holidays, we took a break.
We’ll be starting back up this coming week. We revived our blog on Blogger and decided to turn it into a Vlog and Podcast. New blog posts about toys, kids, nostalgia and
other funky stuff premier on Mondays. Vlogs are released on YouTube
on Tuesdays; and Podcasts are released on Wednesdays on your
favorite podcast platform such as Spotify or Apple.
Because Amazon is busting at the seams during
the holidays, we are still waiting on them to put Chika Chaka on the shelves
for purchase. FBA is going to change the way we do business. In the
meantime, you can always find Chika Chaka on TikTok Shop, Whatnot, our website Chikachakatoy and limited specialty
toy retailers. Our goal is to serve as many markets as possible while still
supporting small businesses like us.
We posted a few more meditation videos for
you to get your zen on! Our passion for getting people moving and our own
love of mindfulness, yoga, and healthy habits inspired the resurgence of
LēLa, our lifestyle brand that has been sitting on the shelf for almost
ten years. Our mission is to help you achieve higher energy without disrupting
your daily routine. Watch for more relaxation, meditation, and positive
affirmation videos from us as we build it into the M&M Funky Stuff family.
