Looking Back, Moving Forward – from Mel

☃ We’ve had some frigid temps and almost a foot of snow here in central Indiana this past week. It’s made for cozy days and nights with the fireplace roaring, fuzzy slippers, and oversized sweatshirts – all good fodder for creativity. I find the post-holiday months a great time for trying out new ideas, getting organized, and getting caught up overall (and binge watching our favorite shows when my brain is ready to go autopilot 🤪). I’m more of a warm weather girl so it takes a lot before I develop “cabin fever” this time of year. My eyes can feast on the rural setting of snow-covered trees and snowy fields for days. The scene conjures up the calm and serenity needed to take on an exciting 2025. I call it “Active Hibernation”!

Here’s what we’ve been up to recently and what’s ahead for Chika Chaka…

 

 

Team Wins:

We’ve set up Patreon and Quora profiles to develop member-only content. We answer toy, parenting, and health questions several times per week in Quora. Still learning about how to use Patreon to the fullest. We don’t have the followers that most of the creators do, but we want to be ready. Stop by and say hello!

 

Project Updates:

We’ve changed our release date of M&M Funky Five Jive. It’s our 15 min.-or-less podcast bringing you fun and nostalgia as we discuss our take on toys, kids and other funky stuff. New blog posts about toys, kids, nostalgia and other funky stuff premier on Mondays. Vlogs and podcasts are released on Wednesdays. You can find them on YouTube and your favorite podcast platform such as Spotify or Apple.

Chika Chaka is now available on Amazon!
